What is the Early Access Programme?

Giving the right students the right kind of opportunity

The Early Access Programme is a structured work-based learning model that supports students who may be struggling in a traditional classroom environment. Designed for those who are at risk of becoming NEET or being referred to a PRU, the EAP provides meaningful, long-term work placements for one or two days per week, across the full academic year.

This is not just about giving students something to do. It’s about helping them find purpose, routine, and a pathway they can believe in. By spending regular time in a real working environment, students develop confidence, build key life skills, and gain a better sense of what they want from their future.

Who is it for?

The EAP is ideal for students who:

Are at risk of disengagement or exclusion
Struggle to thrive in a purely academic setting
Are on the edge of being referred to a PRU
Would benefit from routine, structure, and real-world relevance
Need something different to help them reconnect with education

What’s Included?

A long-term placement (one or two days per week) over the academic year
